Description

The White Japanese Bantam is a miniature chicken with a large comb, large wings that touch the ground, arched tail feathers, and very short legs. This breed is a great chicken to show* and will also make a great pet. Their small size requires less feed and space. This chicken is found in Japanese history as far back as the 1700s. The White Japanese Bantam was recognized by the American Poultry Standard of Perfection in 1883. We offer 5 different colors of the Japanese Bantam.

*This variety we sell is more expensive because the parent stock is out of excellent show/exhibition stock. Their legs are very short which is one of the qualities judges at chicken shows are looking for.
